JOANNA ANDREASSON / GRAPHIC DESIGN & ILLUSTRATION

I was born in Sweden, raised in Cork, Ireland, and returned to Stockholm where I received an MFA in Graphic Design & Illustration from Konstfack, University College of Arts Crafts and Design. Since graduating from Konstfack, I have worked as a painter, illustrator, graphic designer, and art director.

In 2006 I designed NEO, a Swedish magazine about politics and current affairs and was the art director and picture editor until the summer of 2008. 2002/2003 I held a position as an assistant teacher at the Graphic Design and Illustration department at Konstfack, University College of Arts in Stockholm.

I live in Brooklyn, New York.
